Calella de Palafrugell - Costa Brava
Calella de Palafrugell is located to single 70 km of the French border.
If you look for very authentic places, come to Calella de Palafrugell, a small corner of the Costa Brava, where it will welcome you with heat a pretty town of fishermen and smallest coves, almost still wild. The pines, that excel to the sea, announce the color.
The sea is a true giant aquarium. The beaches of Port bo and Canadell, on the foot of Calella, are unique beaches in their sort, with a small absolutely authentic port of boats of fishermen.
It is an excellent departure point of interesting excursions in a radius of 15 km to the round one. Llafranc and Tamariu are two other towns, a little greater than the one of Calella, but very typical also.
Two other places not to lose in the zone: Pals, small medieval town, and the Medes Islands, to which it is acceded by L'Estartit, absolutely magnificent natural reserve.
A cove not to forget, the one of the Golfet, that is totally paradisiac. Other coves of great beauty are Sa Tuna, Sa Riera.
